About The Designer
Handbags have been a part of my life since I can remember...from borrowing my mom's when playing dress-up as a young girl to sewing my first one at 28 years old. I actually still have a few of my mom's and my aunt's bags from the early days...and they still are classic in style. One of the things I remember most is how relevant they were 20 years ago, 10 years ago and today. And that is my inspiration.

Born and raised along the coast of Southern California, I now make the windy city of Chicago my home. My love of pop and modern rock music, understated color hues, nature, architecture and geometric shapes all influence my designs. I have two beautiful nieces (Sophie and Samantha) and one adorable nephew (Dylan) all under seven that brighten my every day!

About The Company
We are a Boutique Handbag line with moderate price points on great Italian Leather and lambskin handbags which retail under $400. Everything is done for a reason; all the leather and decorator fabrics are chosen together to create a more cohesive collection...no detail is left undone right down to the stitching.

We currently offer a wide range of products from small to large. Our Dylan Coin bags and our ever so popular Cher wristlets make great gift and add on items. We satisfy the oversize trend (with our Allison Hobo, Edie Carryall, Heather Oversized Clutch and introducing our Lauren Foldover bag in the Summer of 2010) in a classic way.

Detail is key and therefore our bags are finished with the finest hardware and fun colored linings that really allow the inside to pop. Our linings are Bengaline, which is a rib weave fabric with a non-fray backing that is great for durability on the inside. We use only casted O-rings that come in a beautiful satin finish as opposed to wire cut ones. We also use large 18mm bag feet on all of our gusseted bags, so the bottom doesn't get dirty so quickly. Top quality Romag Magnetic snaps and YKK zippers also add style, fashion and strength to our bags.

We try to create collections that can be used all year long, as it's our goal for you to get the most out of your purchase. Basically we wanted to create the perfect accessory for every season!

About The Collection
I am in love with simple, clean lines that still make a statement, just not over the top. I have a philosophy that less will always be more. And I feel that my collection is a welcome break from this trend of super-styled (and often over-styled) handbags. I love beautiful textiles as much as supple leathers in indefinite colors and I create designs that highlight the beauty of each perfectly. Although these subtler shades are harder to find, I make sure that each piece stands alone with no cut corners and no detail left undone.

With my current collection, I feel that I have found the perfect mix of my laid-back Southern California attitude with my new urban Chicago lifestyle. My line embodies the spirit of individuality, while combining classic elegance with everyday casual. The result is handbags that work as well with broken-in jeans as they do with a classic LBD.

I simply don't believe in mass-production. Every design is produced in limited quantities to keep each piece personal and unique. Fine craftsmen in Chicago create each of these limited edition pieces. I also name every design after the person who inspired me to create them (i.e. The bride - Janey clutch, The Stylista - Allison Hobo, The Organizer - Edie Carry-all, The Trend Setter - Lauren Foldover Bag, etc.)

I am just so grateful that I've been able to do this for the last few years. And although the economy is not doing so hot, my collection is the hottest it's ever been. I hope you learn to love it as much as I do.
